My involvement

I worked across infrastructure preparation, Terraform, Ansible automation, Linux and application configuration, troubleshooting, migration activity, documentation and technical handover.

What mattered

The work required understanding dependencies across infrastructure and applications, creating repeatable environments and making migration activity visible to the teams involved.

I developed reusable Terraform approaches, supported pipeline-based planning and delivery, and improved how proposed infrastructure changes were understood before deployment.

What mattered

The work contributed to a simpler infrastructure model and approximately £400,000 in annual infrastructure savings.

Reducing a repetitive access process from an hour to minutes

Context

A routine onboarding and offboarding process required repeated manual steps and took around an hour to complete.

My involvement

I created a controlled PowerShell workflow to standardise and automate the process.

The task was reduced from approximately one hour to around five minutes.
